Stinjan — calm above the bay
In Roman times known as “Astiniaum,” Stinjan sits on the hills and waves above the northern shore of the Bay of Pula. A small and quiet place, developed 700 m from a beautiful coast surrounded by pine forests — an ideal destination for your next vacation.
In Stinjan, visit the parish church of Sv. Margarita with its bell tower, the monument to the victims of fascism, and the street called “Šaliž.” Discover the fortress Punta Cristo on the Proština peninsula, and in the bays of Žunac and Cape Guc — the remains of an ancient swimming pool with a mosaic floor.
From the historic core around the central square, the place is expanding in all directions — new residential and tourist zones growing quietly among the pines.

Winter

How to reach us
By car

By boat
If you visit Istria by sea, permanent and seasonal boat lines are at your disposal from Trieste, Venice and Zadar. The Port of Pula is a short drive from Stinjan.
By plane
Pula Airport is just 5 km from the city centre — easily reached by taxi, bus, or organised hotel transfer. Nearby Vrsar International Airport serves smaller private aircraft.
By bus
Regular international bus lines connect Croatia with Austria, Italy, Hungary, France, Germany, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries. Local lines serve Pula frequently.
By train
Several regular lines connect Istria with Zagreb and the rest of Croatia. Current timetables and booking at hzpp.hr.
On foot from the hotel
The beach is a 700 m walk through pine forest. The nearest village centre is a 5-minute stroll. Pula's Arena is reachable in 15 minutes by car.
